About Kim Ferguson

Graduated from University of River Falls Wisc., was under the supervision and instruction of Larry Kasten for 4 years.
Assisted teaching the colt class during the last 2 years of course.
Interned with Jack Brainard while attending college for 3 years, starting 20-30 colts each summer.
Worked for Joe Hayes for 2 1/2 years as his assistant trainer.
Worked for Craig Johnson for 2 years as his assistant trainer.
Worked for Scott McCutcheon for 1 year as his assistant trainer.
Worked for Bar S Quarter Horses for 2 years as head trainer.
Been on our own since 1996.
Been in 3 Ray Hunt clinics.
Been in and audited Bob Loomis and Doug Milholland clinics.
Rode with and been around various other respected trainers through out the years.
While working for Craig, I also taught a reining course at Cooke County Community College for one semester.
Have given various clinics and judged various different horse shows.
Have shown and won many reining events as listed below.
February of 2001, went to a Heroes and Friends Working Cow Horse Clinic that was absolutely fabulous, (They are truly Heroes and Friends: Todd Bergen, Bobby Avila, and Teddy Robertson...Thank you for sharing your knowledge with us
